Reminder: Honoring our Veterans

We have only received a few forms back and are hoping to line our walls! Please see the information below regarding our upcoming Veterans Day Celebration.

Honoring Our

Veterans

Griswold School is proud to take a moment to honor the Veterans in our community! If you know a special veteran, here is how you can help!

Veterans from our community are invited to attend our school wide Veterans Day assembly where they will be honored on November 11th at 9:15 a.m.  Please complete the RSVP attached to this form and return it to school! This assembly is an opportunity for us to continue our support for veterans and their families while helping to teach our students about service, sacrifice, and the importance of gratitude as citizens of the United States.

While this assembly takes place during the school day and is only for students and our veterans, we ask for your help if you know a special veteran!

We hope students will help by:

Creating a star to honor your special Veteran!

• Complete the information above the star (If you need a copy sent home, please message either your child’s teacher or the main office and we will send home a hard copy (Rzup@berlinschools.org)

• Include a photo if you have one (We will do our best to return it to you!)

• Color and/or decorate the star

• Please return this to your teacher ASAP!
